BookCrafter is operated by Ang Barton LLC. These terms explain the use of our reading archive, reader accounts, memberships, and community features. By using BookCrafter, you agree to these terms.

The archive and your account

BookCrafter offers book commentary, recommendations, reading records, and themed spaces for your collection. A membership does not include copies of the books discussed. Our opinions, ratings, and recommendations are personal, and discussions may contain spoilers or mature themes.

Reader accounts are for adults 18 and older. Keep your sign-in details secure and use your account for your own reading. Please contact us if you believe someone else has accessed it.

Memberships and purchases

The Membership page describes the features currently offered with each tier. Features marked Coming Soon are not available for purchase until they open. Review the selected plan, billing frequency, price, and applicable tax shown at checkout before paying.

Paddle is our authorized reseller and handles payment processing. Its checkout terms apply to purchases. A recurring membership renews at the selected monthly or yearly interval unless canceled. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the next charge; access normally continues through the paid period.

Our Refunds & Cancellations policy explains refunds, cancellations, and how to reach Paddle Buyer Support. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Launch prices remain available while your paid membership stays continuous under the conditions described on the Membership page. Canceling a membership does not delete your saved books or reading history. Membership-only benefits depend on your current access; separately purchased, unrefunded realms remain associated with your account while the service operates.

Community participation and artwork

Please respect other readers, protect their privacy, and follow the instructions for each community space. Do not post unlawful material, harassment, impersonation, spam, or content you do not have permission to share. Do not attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the site.

You retain the rights you hold in your submissions. By posting in a shared space, you permit BookCrafter to store and display that post to the readers of that space and to moderate it. Artwork submissions use the separate permission choices presented when you upload; submitting artwork does not guarantee publication.

We may moderate submissions or restrict access when needed to address misuse, protect readers, or comply with law. These measures do not remove any refund or consumer rights that apply.

Content and availability

BookCrafter’s original site content and design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Books, covers, names, and other third-party material belong to their respective rights holders. Using the site does not transfer those rights. Contact us with a concern about material displayed here.

We maintain and improve the service, but interruptions and errors can occur. Features may change over time. Nothing in these terms excludes protections or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Notice explains how information is used. We will post revisions to these terms here and identify their date. Material changes affecting paid membership terms will be communicated before they take effect where required.
